About Wychdene Care Home
Our History
Wychdene is a family run care home located within the beautiful seaside town of Broadstairs in Kent.
We provide a bespoke, person-centred, home from home environment for our residents. Our care home provides a personal level of care for up to 24 residents.
Conveniently located, Wychdene Care Home is a stones throw away from local amenities. We pride ourselves in being able to provide a home away from home.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services including 24-hour residential care, medication management, delicious home made meals and recreational activities.
Our chefs provide nutritious onsite meals and 24/7 snacks and refreshments. We also have weekly visits from the hairdresser / nail technician and chiropodist.
Wychdene Care Home benefits from an in house activities co-ordinator, our typical activities include outings, reminiscence therapy, karaoke, exercise classes, parties, painting, gardening, arts and crafts and parties. So feel free to join in as much or as little as you want to. We are a small family orientated home and family members are always welcome to shows, fetes and any forms of entertainment.
Accommodations
Our care home offers private rooms with many ensuites with comfortable amenities to make our residents feel at home. We also have common areas for socialising and relaxing.
Wychdene Care Home is also set in beautiful grounds and benefits from a tendered lawn to both the front and rear of the property, we encourage our residents to enjoy the outdoor space and encourage family members to spend time in the gardens.
